SLU ID Frequently Asked Questions
You will only be issued one SLU ID, no matter how many ways you are tied to Saint Louis University. Your primary relationship with the University determines the type of card you get. For example, full-time staff who take classes at SLU receive staff cards. Full-time students who work part-time at SLU receive student IDs.
There is no charge for the first SLU ID we issue you. Active cards that need to be replaced due to theft or natural wear and tear are free, but you must have a police report number or turn in the worn card. Natural wear and tear results from swiping cards through card readers and does not include punching holes, scratches, breaks or cuts. The fee for replacing an ID card is $25.
Call Parking, Card and Transportation Services immediately at 314-977-2957. We will deactivate your lost SLU ID, preventing anyone from using your Billiken Bucks or Bonus Flex account or any other services.
If your SLU ID is your U.S. Bank ATM card, please call 314-533-1041 to deactivate the ATM portion of the card.
It is $25 to replace a lost ID. You can pay for the replacement via cash, check, debit or credit at our office. Students actively enrolled in classes can bill the fee to their student accounts, and eligible faculty/staff members may pay for the ID through payroll deduction.
Call the Office of Parking, Card office at 314-977-2957, and we will check the system. It may be necessary for you to visit our office so that we may check your SLU ID.
The Department of Public Safety oversees all door access on campus. To request special access to a building or access during non-business hours, or with questions, contact 314-977-5626 or cardaccessdps@slu.edu.
