  • Portraiture with a Photojournalistic Emphasis
Luana Fischer has been teaching Photography at Saint Louis University Madrid since 2006 and leading a professional photographer career in Spain, her home country Brazil and other countries in Europe and the Americas, since 1998. 

As a photojournalist, she worked for different publishers such as Folha de Sao Paulo (Brazil´s main newspaper) and Der Standaard, a Belgium a daily tabloid. As a portrait maker, her work has been published on the main fashion and lifestyle magazines in Spain, such as Esquire, Vogue and Gentleman.

Luana was granted with the IX Marc Ferrez Photography Grant, given by the Culture Ministry of Brazil in 2010 and was shortlisted for Photoespaña, the main photography festival in Spain, in 2017.

Publications and Media Placements

Currently publishing various works for Spanish and Brazilian magazines and newspapers, such as Vogue España, GQ España, Esquire España, Folha de Sao Paulo, El País.
